The Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy

The Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (BSc PT) is a four year, full time program contains 8 academic semesters (4 academic years) leading to entry to practice. Each academic year starts at autumn. Students pass over 130 required credits containing both clinical education and basic courses. Their clinical internship starting at the third year requires the minimum of 24 hours per week. Our graduates will be eligible to join Iranian Physiotherapy Association and Iranian Medical Council. Physiotherapist may work in hospitals, private clinics, health agencies, nursing homes, schools and rehabilitation centers. They are interested in improving patients’ functional ability and reducing their pain, disabilities and impairments. The Master of Science in Physical Therapy

The Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSc PT) is twenty four month program making the graduates able to conduct research and join to research centers. It also gives them the opportunity to learn advanced practices qualified them to practice as professional physiotherapists. Students usually spend the last two semesters on their thesis subjects. The PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) program in Physiotherapy

 

The PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) program in Physiotherapy aims to train professional researchers and academicians. The program was designed to cover necessary courses to expand the candidates’ vision through their future research studies.  It usually last 2 full-time academic years followed with 2 years of focusing on the thesis subject. PhD candidates are required to pass the comprehensive exam to become eligible to start their thesis projects.
