Technology experts also responded to student questions on the topic.
Given the growing importance of protecting intellectual property rights in a knowledge-based economy and in commercializing products, intellectual property centers have been established as some of the most valuable intellectual assets in universities and research institutions. With effective management, universities can create value and utilize research to generate wealth.
The University’s Office of Intellectual Property, as an institution, aims to strengthen the technology sector of the Research Vice Presidency by organizing sessions and promoting a culture of intellectual property and innovation.
